Contributing to the World Petroleum Industry

The petroleum industry has played an important role in the evolution of the 20^th century industries and economies around the world. By constructing petroleum-related plants, JGC has made a significant contribution to industries and economies in Japan, as well as in Asia as a whole, the Middle East, Africa, South America, and Eastern Europe. JGC has constructed more than 800 projects over the years, including grass-roots refineries, catalytic cracking plants, hydrodesulfurization plants and lube oil plants. JGC maintains a high level of awareness of the business environment surrounding the petroleum industry, such as the global environment, the heavier crude oils, and changes in trends of petroleum products.
