JGC encourages its clients to utilize the biodegradable plastic and/or solvent production from biomass based on JGC technologies and extensive experience in the fermentation and chemical industries. Biomass originated biodegradable plastic and solvent such as polyactic acid have been attracting attention also from the environmental viewpoint, and they can be applied to industrialize JGC clients' technologies.
