JGC has been promoting activities in a wide
range of areas in order to attain clean energy development and green power
generation, with the clear aim of contributing to conservation of the global
environment. In the field of natural gas, JGC is implementing activities to construct
a DME (Dimethyl Ether) plant. In the oil area, JGC had constructed the
IGCC
(Integrated
Gasification Combined Cycle) power plant that gasifies residual oil and
reforms it into a clean power generation fuel to generate power by combined
cycle. Further, JGC produces liquid fuel from crude oil to be used for
the high temperature combustion gas turbine, and GEFINERY, the combined
power generation system, has been attracting attention as a new technology
meeting the needs for a highly efficient power generation system. In the
power generation field, JGC has constructed the large-scale combined cycle
power generation plants and to demonstrate the new clean fuel for power
generation. |
