- For better creation in fine chemicals -
Hydrogen sulfide, used in organic synthesis reactions or in the production of an intermediate for sulfur-containing chemicals, is required to be high in purity - an important factor that determines product quality and yields.
This process, designed to synthesize hydrogen sulfide by hydrogenation of liquid sulfur available from a refinery SRU (sulfur recovery unit), makes available high-purity hydrogen sulfide (99.9% plus).  Allowing production as the need arises; this technology contributes to better in-plant safety by eliminating transportation and storage of highly hazardous hydrogen sulfide in cylinders.
